Zachary E. Tinker, Esq.
Zachary E. Tinker is the founder and principal attorney of Sespe Law APC. Working alongside Education Specialist Carina Tinker, he leads the firm’s education law and special education / IEP advocacy, and brings trial experience in dependency law and criminal defense. Zach provides zealous representation rooted in compassion, integrity, and detailed statutory understanding.
A Ventura County Leadership Academy alum and CASA volunteer, he represents families in special education and IEP matters, individuals in CPS and criminal cases, and businesses and organizations as outside general counsel.
Beyond his legal work, Zach serves as chairperson of the Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association (SCYYRA) and as Secretary of LifeSail, helping empower underserved youth through maritime education. A passionate Opti Dad, he supports his daughters in competitive sailing events nationwide and often volunteers as a drone pilot to capture youth regattas. He enjoys skiing at Mammoth Mountain and spending time at the Santa Barbara Dog Beach with his wife Carina and their three dogs.
